The magnificent facade of the house, a monumental building, already indicates  the beautiful interior. The moment one enters , the marble floor is revealed with a solid oak staircase leading to two enchanting suites. These have a view on the Prinsengracht at the front of the house. The stairs also lead to seven homely suites and rooms at the back that look out on the patio.

The patio is an elegantly styled garden with a rustic atmosphere, unique in the busy centre of Amsterdam. You can enjoy breakfast, a drink or afternoon tea,under an old maple tree.

The two large executive suites at the front each have five large, high windows to reveal a breathtaking view over the canals and the architectural sights across the canal.

The seven large suites and rooms at the back of the house look out over the patio and the reverse side of the fascinating facades of the 17th (Golden) century buildings .
The room on the top floor offers a breathtaking view on the spire of the Rijksmuseum and the 16th century Montelbaans Tower adjacent to the old city gate.

Breakfast can be provided either in your room, downstairs in the Strawinsky room or in the summer on the Patio. In the Strawinsky Room, between the beautiful Irish linnen drapes covering the five French doors, daylight shines on the beautiful paintings. The grand piano and the generously set tables form the perfect ambiance for a unique and relaxed start of the day.

After a day of business meetings or after exploring the splendid city, you are pampered with tea, sweet delicacies and a glass of wine.
